Fall Semester Calendar

Each week 8/30-10/24 weekly lessons as normal

  • 10/25 Sunday lessons as normal
  • 10/26-11/1 Fall Break (no Sunday lessons on 11/1)
  • 11/2 weekly lessons resume
  • The week of Thanksgiving, Thursday students will go at their regular time on Tuesday 11/24
  • 11/30-12/6 lessons as normal
  • 12/6-12/12 make up week 1
  • 12/13-12/19 make up week 2
  • Fall Student Showcase date TBD – either Friday 12/11, Thursday 12/17 or Friday 12/18

  • 5/30-6/5 make up week 1
  • 6/4 Spring Student Showcase

Attendance and make-up policy

  • Students are expected to attend each scheduled lesson and arrive on time. If a student is late and another student has the time slot after them, the late student’s lesson will still end when the next student’s time starts.
  • Should a student miss a lesson for any reason, they must schedule a make-up. A make-up can be scheduled for any time the student and I are both available; two weeks at the end of the semester designated specifically for make-ups, but they could also be done the same week pending availability.
  • Should a student not miss any lessons in a semester, they may have the make-up weeks off as a vacation or schedule additional lessons during those weeks.
  • Makeup arrangements are intended for occasional absences; repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in dismissal from the program.
  • If I am unable to teach a lesson, a makeup will be scheduled or a refund will be given for that lesson.
  • Continual cancellations and no-shows will result in expulsion from the lessons program.

Payment policy

  • Payment for the month is due at the first lesson of every month. A 5% discount will be applied for students who pay the entire semester in full at the semester’s start.
  • If a student does not pay at the first lesson of the month, subsequent lessons will not be given until the month is paid for.
  • The rate for 60 minutes is $40
  • The rate for 30 minutes is $25
  • Payment may be made with cash, check, Zelle, credit card, or debit card. 
  • A 3% fee is applied to credit and debit card transactions.
  • If I need to cancel a lesson and I am unable to make that lesson up, a refund will be issued for that lesson. This is the only circumstance under which any refund will be issued.
  • Continual missed payments may result in expulsion from the lessons program.
